The Company

SEI Investments Co. (SEIC) is a financial services company specializing in investment processing, management, and operations platforms. With a client base spanning corporations, financial institutions, advisors, and ultra-high-net-worth families, SEI delivers innovative, integrated solutions to support its clients in navigating complex financial markets and achieving their goals.

SEI oversees $342.7 billion in managed assets and serves 109 private bank clients, 2,300 advisors, 558 institutional clients, and 545 investment managers.

SEI generates revenue through various streams tied to the services it provides. A significant portion of its income comes from fees tied to client assets that it manages, advises, or administers. These assets include mutual funds, collective investment trusts (CITs), ETFs, and custom investment programs.

Another revenue stream comes from licensing its advanced technology platforms, such as the SEI Wealth PlatformSM (SWP). This platform integrates investment processing, operational outsourcing, and asset management, and clients pay for its use through Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) models, based on usage or the assets processed.

SEI also earns revenue by providing back-office and middle-office services for investment managers, which include data management, fund accounting, compliance support, and investor reporting.

Additionally, SEI offers advisory and business development services for financial advisors and institutional clients, helping them improve efficiency and scale their operations.

Revenue is further supplemented through acquisitions and innovations, such as the purchase of Altigo, a cloud-based platform for alternative investments, as well as the development of solutions targeting new markets, including ultra-high-net-worth families.
